HAND of the Bay Area’s Annual Service of Remembrance

As we approach October, National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, we’d like to warmly invite you to our Annual Service of Remembrance on Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 10am-1pm.

All parents, families and friends are welcome to join us at the serene Miwok Picnic Shelter in Huddart Park in Woodside, CA for a day to honor all our babies. We encourage you to share pictures, poems, stories, letters, and your babies’ names to be included in the printed program and read aloud during the service.

Please arrive at 10:00am for a social hour, followed by the service beginning promptly at 11:00am, and concluding with the scattering of wildflower seeds.

Click here to RSVP and submit babies’ names, images and readings for the printed program. Submissions of images and readings MUST be received by August 25th to be included in the printed program.  We will continue to accept babies’ names through September 19th.

This year we will also host a Memorial Table to display families’ pictures and mementos. If you would like to participate, please bring an item that is meaningful to you to display during the service.

* Note that even if your baby’s or babies’ names were included in prior years, the form must be completed to be included in the 2019 program.
