Dear HAND families and friends, 

As we approach October, National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, we would like to warmly invite you to HAND of the Bay Area’s annual Service of Remembrance on Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 10am-1pm.

All HAND parents, families and friends are welcome to join us at the serene Miwok Picnic Shelter in Huddart Park in Woodside for a day to honor our babies. The service will include refreshments, live music, poems and readings read aloud by parents, a printed program booklet, and wildflower seed scattering. We encourage you to share pictures, poems and letters, and your babies’ names, to be included in the program and read aloud during the service.

Click here to RSVP and submit babies’ names, images and readings for the printed program. Submissions of images and readings MUST be received by August 20th to be included in the printed program. We will continue to accept babies’ names through September 17th.

This year we will also host a Memorial Table to display families’ pictures and mementos. If you would like to participate, please bring an item that is meaningful to you to display during the service.
