Service of Remembrance, Saturday, October 9, 2010
HAND of the Peninsula invites you to our annual Service of Remembrance at Huddart Park's Miwok Shelter in Woodside. The service will take place on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 10 am.
All parents, family and friends are invited to join us in remembering our babies. Infants' names, dates, poems and short stories submitted by October 2 to fandl@muenn.net will be included in the printed program and read at the service, along with personal readings, music and reflections.
Breakfast beverages and snacks will be served and wildflower seeds will be provided for scattering. To volunteer and for any other information, please e-mail info@HANDsupport.org or call (650) 367-6993.
The fee for parking at Huddart is $5. Directions: from Highways 280 or 101, take the Woodside Road exit west. Proceed 1.5 miles west of the intersection of Highway 280 and Woodside Road to Kings Mountain Road and turn right. Follow Kings Mountain Road for 2.3 miles to the park entrance on the right. A ranger will direct you to the Miwok Shelter area.
General Support Meetings
General support meetings take place on the first and third Wednesdays of every month. The time and dates for the next few meetings are listed here.
